Chaucer's works date back to the 13th century and are considered some of the most beautiful and exciting works of literature ever written. Chaucer's greatest works include The Canterbury Tales, the Twelve Days of Christmas, The Canterbury Tales Compiled, and other works that focus on love and romance.Chaucer's greatest works were written when he was still a teenager and the Canterbury Tales is the works that are most renowned. The six Canterbury Tales was widely collected during the 14th century and are considered to be the most popular of all the Chaucer works. Chaucer wrote these wonderful stories and also illustrated them in his own unique style.The stories in the Canterbury Tales are very rich in detail and have very rich characters. They cover everything from the act of marriage to the love for children. All of the stories have a theme and each of the stories have a central theme and main character.The most well known story in the Canterbury Tales is The Knight's Tale. This particular story is a love story between a knight and a lady. It was first published in England and then later translated into Latin and then eventually to French and English.Chaucer is famous for his use of rhyme and this is evident in all of the Chaucer works. In addition, his literary style is extremely modern and includes certain kinds of words that were not used before the Middle Ages. The style of Chaucer is the result of his work as a courtier and he makes use of different kinds of words that are unique to him.Chaucer is the father of many great writers including Geoffrey Chaucer, who is known for creating the Canterbury Tales. Chaucer's son also wrote the well-known Tristram Shandy. All of these great literary works were greatly influenced by Geoffrey Chaucer and they are an example of how the works of the Engl ish Renaissance contributed to the development of literature.Some of the great work of literature that the Middle Ages contributed to include the Song of Roland and the Historia Regum Britanniae. These works have influenced many other great works of literature in the English language.
